The "Every 28 Hours" Plays

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival and The One-Minute Play Festival teamed up to co-produce Every 28 Hours, based on the statistic that a black person is killed by the police every 28 hours in America. It consists of 60-plus one-minute plays inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, with participation by playwrights across the nation.  ACT was one of the first theaters to do this production less than a week after it's development in St. Louis October 20-24th. What an privilege it was to share these pieces with a community, to use theater as a medium through which to begin conversation and change.
