“Six Years Old” Reading

Really glad I get to bring Kim (a babysitter for two precocious/witty children) to life in Sam Silbiger’s wonderful Six Years Old, directed by Helen Handelman.

The reading will be on January 27th @4pm at The Bushwick Starr Annex (3rd fl). RSVP here!

"Six Years Old addresses queer and trans identity issues through the lens of a young girl testing the bounds of gender on her self-proclaimed journey to become her hero, Han Solo. After becoming tired of merely dressing up as the swaggering spaceship captain at home, six-year-old Adalaide confronts the limitations of her body and environment when a plan to “reincarnate” herself leads her and her younger brother, Dewey, into a life-threatening brush with danger.”
