The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

Closing out the three years in the MFA program at ACT with a production of "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot," by Pulitzer Prize-winning Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by David Mendizabal, and featuring our whole MFA class. This next dark comedy takes place in downtown Purgatory & explores faith and forgiveness in all its foul-mouthed, complicated glory.

We run from February 22nd-March 3rd in the Rueff Theater at The Strand Theater in San Francisco. Make sure to check us out!

A Christmas Carol

Excited to be a part of A.C.T.'s acclaimed, music-infused adaptation of Dickens' beloved tale, A Christmas Carol, playing the roles of Ermengarde/Annabelle/Gang Member! Running from December 1st-24th at ACT's Geary Theater, this production has become one of the Bay Area's favorite holiday traditions telling the story of lonely old miser Ebenezer Scrooge who's given a second chance by four ghosts who visit him one spooky and sleepless Christmas Eve. Don't miss this classic story of redemption and forgiveness that captures the true spirit and magic of the holiday season!

Now. Here. Us.

Now Here Us

From October 19-21st, in the Garret Theater upstairs at ACT's The Geary Theater (at 5:30pm each night!) we will be putting on an evening of musical numbers inspired by moments that have shaped our lives. Directed by Milissa Carey and considered a favorite every MFA season, it celebrates the individuals in our class and is a great opportunity to interact with us in an intimate setting!

Watch a clip of me singing Kerrigan & Lowdermilk's "Avalanche"!

After playing the role of Ria in ACT's initial staged reading, I am super pumped to bring her to life in a full production (co-sponsored by Firefox/Mozilla) of Lucas Kavner's CLICKSHARE, directed by Stephen Brackett playing from September 28th-30th at The Strand Theater! It will no doubt be a hilarious show you don't want to miss!

Lady Capulet in "Romeo & Juliet"

To close out my Chautauqua summer, I will be playing Lady Capulet, opposite the incredible Keith Randolph Smith, in Romeo & Juliet, directed by Dawn Monique Williams, which runs from August 11-18th in the Bratton Theater. What an awesome way to end an unbelievable summer!

Caroline in "Detroit '67"

I am the most humbled to be playing Caroline in Dominique Morisseau's Detroit '67, directed by Steve H. Broadnax III, which runs from July 21- 30th at Bratton Theater at Chautauqua. To be a part of this brilliant show on the 50th anniversary of the Detroit rebellion, is a reminder of its relevance & just how much work still needs to be done not only in Detroit, but also across our country.

Community Engagement Project

A few of us in the Acting Conservatory, under the incredible direction of Ashley Teague, devised a theater piece exploring how the nation and its diverse communities are or are not communicating. Inspired by discussions and stories shared with us with employees of the Chautauqua Institution, members of the Hispanic Cultural Center, and residents of Mayville, Jamestown, & Dunkirk community, we sought to ask the question: What are the invisible barriers standing between us and civil discourse?

Read an article in the Chautauqua Daily about the process and project here!

Young Playwrights Festival

In partnership with the Florida Studio Theater, Chautauqua Theater Company participated in an interactive, three part playwriting project for local 3rd & 4th grade students. In less than 14hrs of rehearsal, a select group of us company members rehearsed & performed 14 winning plays of 403 submissions as part of this Young Playwrights Festival, directed by the incredible Katherine McGerr. The festival celebrates bringing theater and playwrighting into schools and encourages young people to embrace their imaginations. It was amazing to see these kids feel seen and proud of their work coming to life!
